| Who? The NAM: National Airsoft Magazine, in association with MIKE Force Airsoft present OPERATION: EGG HUNT '07 What? OPERATION: EGG HUNT is exactly what it sounds like. It's an easter egg hunt with an airsoft twist... and then vice versa! When? April 1st, 2007. Isn't that April Fool's Day?! Yes, it is but no, this Op is NOT an "April Fools" joke. The Op is 100% serious and 100% real! The only fools will be the ones who miss this event! Where? OPERATION: EGG HUNT will take place at the MIKE Force - Base Camp field: 504 Trail Drive, Moss Landing, CA 95039 Get Driving Directions Here HOW?! This is the fun part... UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS: NO ACUs allowed! This includes hats and tactical gear! ONLY CONTROLLERS ARE PERMITTED TO WEAR ACUs. If you're seen in it, you'll either be sent home to change or play in your undies...your choice! FPS LIMITS: This will be a stock FPS game ONLY! AEGs and GBBs and NBBs and any other BB-firing gun is welcome so long as it meets the FPS limitation of 280fps-320fps w/.20bbs. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! RENTALS: What if I don't have a stock gun? Rentals will be available for $25 per person and will include an AEG, freshly charged battery and 1-HiCap full of BBs. Okay, you've got me so far...so how much does it cost and what am I paying for?! OPERATION: EGG HUNT '07 is a measly $25 a head. Registration is hasslefree. Just pay upon arrival. Here's what that $25 gets ya: We've got a total of 50 Easter eggs all filled to the brim with airsoft goodness, yours for the taking! OVER $1000 DOLLARS IN PRIZES TO BE GIVEN AWAY AT THIS EVENT! DON'T BE THE ONE WHO MISSES OUT! 0900-1030hrs: Arrival, gear-up, sign-in and chrono. 1030-1230hrs: Part I begins. We have 40 eggs strewn about the upper field, filled with airsoft goodies (well, corresponding numbers to airsoft goodies as we couldn't fit the stuff in the little buggers!). All participants will be hunting for these 40 eggs filled with prizes up to and including BBs, Discount Coupons, Tactical Pouches, etc... 1230-1330hrs: Part I ends. Begin lunch break 1330-1500hrs: Lunch break ends. Part II aka the real hunt begins! In the field are 10 "high value targets" (basically Easter Eggs), filled with corresponding numbers to the really real good prizes like GBBs, AEGs and more! 1500-1530hrs: Part II ends. MF 50/50 cash raffle prize and "high value target" egg prizes awarded. 1600hrs: OPERATION: EGG HUNT ends. Actual game rules will be discussed at the event... Basic Rules and Guidelines: All those in attendance MUST read, complete, sign and bring to the game, our release form. Signature states that the participant (legal guardian if a minor) releases all legal liability and that all safety rules and regulations have been thoroughly read and clearly comprehended. Signature also states that any images taken of the participant may be utilized by The NAM: National Airsoft Magazine for publication purposes without imbursement to the undersigned. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from OPERATION: EGG HUNT '07 Minors: (persons under the age of 18) are welcome to attend with parental consent. All minors are required to have the release form (see above) completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian upon arrival to game site(a sibling cannot be considered a legal guardian unless legally appointed as such). All minors MUST comply with special safety regulations specified in the Release Form. Violations of this rule will result in dismissal from participation in OPERATION: EGG HUNT '07. All adult players MUST have safety goggles/glasses and a boxer's mouth guard! All minors must have full face protection (paintball or mesh face mask). All those attending must also read and sign a release form stating that all rules, safety rules and regulations have been thoroughly read and clearly comprehended. Any behaviour which results in expulsion from the game shall forfeit all fees paid! |
